Ingredients
- 2 cups – All-purpose flour
- 1 cup – Sugar
- 200 g – Chocolate bar (broken into pieces)
- 1 cup – Low-fat Cream or yogurt
- 1/2 cup – Butter (room temperature)
- 1 tsp – Baking soda
- 1 tsp – Baking powder
- 2 tbsp – Flaxseed meal
- 6 tbsp – Hot water
- Confectioner’s Sugar (for dusting)
How to Make Eggless Easy Chocolate Cake
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree F. Beat the butter, sugar until they turn smooth.
- Meanwhile, sieve the flour with baking soda and baking powder and keep aside.
- Mix the flax seed meal in the hot water and make a thick paste and keep aside.
- Now, add the low-fat cream to the smooth butter-sugar mixture and beat for a while.
- Melt the chocolate pieces in a microwave oven with a tablespoon of water.
- Now, add the flax-seed paste and melted chocolate, and whisk everything well.
- Gradually add the sieved flour and stir it with a spatula. Don’t whisk.
- Pour this cake batter in a greased round mould and bake for 20-25 minutes in a middle rack until the skewer inserted comes out clean.
Dust the cake while serving.
