Hummus is a popular middle eastern dip made of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), Tahini, olive oil, lemon, garlic and salt.
Ingredients
- 2 cans chickpeas
- 6 peeled garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Olive oil
- Juice from 1 Lemon
- 2 Tablespoons Tahini
Method
- Mix all ingredients in a food processor while drizzling quarter to half cup of olive oil, and quarter tsp of salt.
- Drizzle more as the consistency turns drippy.
- Add olive oil and olive on top.
Tips:
For a spicier hummus, add a sliced red chile or a dash of cayenne pepper.
