Puri or poori is delicious recipe for breakfast and its also called fried bread. It is very famous in India and Pakistan and enjoyed at all meal times. Muslims serve this recipe in Holy month Ramadan.

Maida is a wheat flour from the Indian subcontinent. Finely milled without any bran, refined, and bleached, it closely resembles Cake flour.

Ingredients

  • Maida – Cake flour
  • Salt
  • Oil to deep fry in

Method

  1. Knead Maida with water.
  2. Make peda
  3. Take a Belan /rolling pin and make small circles from peda
  4. Deep Fry in wok with oil.
