BRAIN CUTLETS Recipe By Zeenat Iqbal Hakimjee
Ingredients
- 1 brain (goat)
- 1 onion
- 1 green chilli
- 1 egg
- 2 oz. flour
- salt
- pepper
- bread crumb
- 1 slice of bread
Method
Take out the brain, wash and cook it, in the water, till it is ready. Take it off, and
remove all the nervy parts from it, with a spoon and fork. Soak 1 big slice of bread in
the water. Cut the onion and chilli fine and make the bread crumb. Remove all water,
from the slice of bread, which has been soaked and mix it with the cooked brain.
Put flour (to make it thick), salt, pepper, chilli, (according to taste) and mix altogether
(if the mixture is sticky do not use egg) soak into the bread crumb and shape it. Then
dip into the beaten egg and fry.
