Keema or Qeema is a traditional meat dish. The word may be borrowed from the Turkish kiyma, which means minced meat. It is typically minced beef or mutton with peas.

INGREDIENTS

  • Mince (hand chopped) ½ kg
  • Peas 2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) 2
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Green coriander 1 bunch
  • Oil 1 cup

Keema Matar Recipe of Minced Meat with Peas

  1. Take 1 cup oil in the pan and add 2 chopped onion.
  2. Fry it till golden brown. Add in 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1tsp turmeric and 1 tbsp red chili powder.
  3. Cook it and then add in 1/2 kg mince in it.
  4. Add in 2 cup peas, 4 green chilies.
  5. Cook it for further 5 minutes.
  6. Add in salt and simmer.
  7. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
