Keema or Qeema is a traditional meat dish. The word may be borrowed from the Turkish kiyma, which means minced meat. It is typically minced beef or mutton with peas.
INGREDIENTS
- Mince (hand chopped) ½ kg
- Peas 2 cup
- Onion (chopped) 2
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 4
- Green coriander 1 bunch
- Oil 1 cup
Keema Matar Recipe of Minced Meat with Peas
- Take 1 cup oil in the pan and add 2 chopped onion.
- Fry it till golden brown. Add in 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1tsp turmeric and 1 tbsp red chili powder.
- Cook it and then add in 1/2 kg mince in it.
- Add in 2 cup peas, 4 green chilies.
- Cook it for further 5 minutes.
- Add in salt and simmer.
- Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
