How to make fish curry – Recipe by Fatma’s Ktchen

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup olive oil
  • 1/4 Tsp Methi Daane (Fenugreek Seeds)
  • 1/2 Tsp Zeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 1 Large Onion (Finely Chopped) Fry until slightly golden
  • 2 Tsp Ginger and Garlic paste
  • 1 small tomato paste
  • 1 Tsp Haldi powder (Turmeric Powder)
  • 1 Tbsp Dhaniya powder (Coriander Powder)
  • 1/2 Tsp Laal Mirch Powder (Red Chili Powder)
  • 3/4 tsp Namak (salt)
  • 2 lbs Salmon Fish
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed kasoori methi
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala

How to make fish curry recipe

  1. Take out the onion and make a paste in blender
  2. Add this fried onion paste again in same oil,Add 2 Tsp Ginger and Garlic paste,fry this mixture for 3 mins.
  3. Now add 1 small tomato paste, Add 1 Tsp Haldi powder (Turmeric Powder),add 1 Tbsp Dhaniya powder (Coriander Powder), Add 1/2 Tsp Laal Mirch Powder (Red Chili Powder), add 3/4 tsp Namak (salt),mix well and cook this masala for 3 mins.
  4. Add 2 lbs Salmon Fish,Mix gently.
  5. Cover and Cook for 5 mins on Low to medium heat.
  6. Now add 1 cup of water for gravy mix gently, add 1/2 tsp Crushed kasoori methi,add 1/4 tsp Garam masala.
  7. Cover and cook for 10 mins on low heat.

Yummy Salmon Fish Curry is ready. Serve with rice or with home made roti 🙂
