KOFTA Ingredients
  • Beef minced 1/2kg
  • Eggs hard boiled 3
  • Gram grind 1 Tea Spoon
  • poppy seeds (grind) 1 Tea Spoon (khaskhas)
  • Green chillies 4,5 (chopped)
  • green coriander 1/2bunch (chopped) – Dhania
  • Onion 1small (chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Table Spoon – Adrak
  • Garam masala Powder 1 Tea Spoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 Tea Spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Egg 1 for fry
  • Oil for fry 1/2cup

Gravy Ingredients

  • Onions 4(finely sliced)
  • Ginger garlic paste 4Table Spoon – Adrak
  • Red chilli Powder 2 Tea Spoons
  • Tumreric Powder 1/2 Tea Spoon – Haldhi
  • Coriander Powder 4 Table Spoons – Dhania
  • Gram masala Powder 1 Tea Spoon
  • mace & nutmeg Powder 1/2 Tea Spoon – Jaiphal, Javitri
  • Yogurt 1/2cup
  • Oil 1cup
  • Salt to taste
FOR GARNISHING:
  • Tomato 1
  • Green chillies 2 to 3

Koftay Method

  1. Mix all ingredients in mince,dived mixture into 3 part, cover boiled eggs with mince make smooth oval shape , dip in beated egg and fry in oil .
  2. Let it cool put in freezer for 15 minutes then with a sharp knife cut koftay vertically into 2 parts. keep aside.

Gravy Method

  1. Heat oil fry onions till golden brown put out from oil and spread on paper and grind. Add ginger garlic paste in oil fry it add red chilli Powder,salt,turmeric, coriander Powder Fry it properly add yogurt and grind onion nutmeg and mace Powder Cook till gravi become thick.
  2. Now put all Koftay in gravy let it warm on lower flame for 5 minutes, pour gravi in serving dish and keep all koftay on the gravy garnish with tomatoes and green chillies.
